The Tribeca Rooftop was quiet and serene on the morning of Tommy and Emily’s wedding. Little did it know that magic that would unfold later that day. Tommy and Emily met in college and fell hopelessly in love. It was finally the day they had been waiting for – the day when two would become one. It wasn’t the end of their journey, but the very beginning.
Unlike the peaceful Tribeca Rooftop, the hotel room where Emily and her bridesmaids were getting ready was buzzing with energy and excitement. It was her last morning as an unmarried woman, and she looked so happy that she might explode. Surrounded by her best friends and family, she prepared for the moment she would see her soon to be husband for their First Look.
It was on the famous Staples Street, near the Tribeca Rooftop, that Tommy first laid eyes on Emily. She looked more stunning than he could have ever imagined. The historic buildings that surrounded them were the perfect backdrop for this beautifully candid moment.
On the Tribeca Rooftop, guests began to arrive. As they waited, they took in the incredible view of the New York City skyline. It was the most stunning view… until Emily made her entrance, that is.
As the sun was preparing to set over the Tribeca Rooftop, we captured the most stunning photos of Tommy, Emily, and their families. This was truly the beginning of the lives they had always dreamt of. Guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour, as anticipation for the reception grew.
It didn’t seem possible, but the reception was just as gorgeous as the ceremony had been. The guests gathered in the beautiful ballroom, below a breathtakingly beautiful skylight. It was the perfect combination of and indoor reception with the beauty of the setting sky.
It was all smiles in the room as the bridal party made their entrance to the reception, with Tommy and Emily entering last, making their first official debut as husband and wife.
It was truly a magical evening.
I’ll always remember this wedding that had me laughing, crying, dancing, and absolutely loving my job.
