Biltmore Estate Wedding | Asheville North Carolina | Lindsey & Chris

You can spend months planning for something and still never predict what the weather will do. That was the case for Lindsey and Chris on their wedding day. Getting married at the Biltmore Estate was a dream come true, but the pouring rain was not. Most anyone would have been wrecked by this turn of events but this couple was the opposite.

In the words of Lindsey, “just because it rained doesn’t mean it wasn’t the best day of your life”. This was true for her wedding day. As cliche as it may seem, she truly took lemons and made lemonade! She didn’t allow a storm to ruin the first day of the rest of her life.

The day after the wedding, Lindsey decided to put her dress back on so we could shoot some rain-free pictures. It was so much fun! She did her own hair and makeup and looked just as beautiful. Chris even joined in and I was able to capture the sweetest moments of them together.

Her Galia Lahav dress was more than worth mentioning. The train was seemingly miles long and every bit breathtaking. It fit her like a glove and was one of the most stunning dresses I had ever seen.

I knew I adored this couple before taking their wedding pictures but truly appreciated them even more after our second day of shooting. Their story is such an inspiring example of true love. Here’s to Chris and Lindsey and their happily ever after!
