It may have been Blake and Jessica’s wedding, but it was a magical day for me as well. After all, it was an all-inclusive wedding at Chestnut Ridge, one of my very favorite venues. I love being a part of the team there because the vendors are amazing and I know everything will go off without a hitch.
Plus, does it get any more beautiful than a Fall wedding in the mountains? I think not.
When Blake and Jessica asked me to photograph their big day, I was truly honored. They are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever worked with. One of my favorite things about this wedding was seeing the incredible bond the couple had with both each other and their families. During the ceremony, their family took some time to pray over them. It was one of the most touching moments I’ve experienced at a wedding. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including mine!
There were a few things that made Blake and Jessica’s wedding photos really special. First, we took some incredible shots during the blue hour, which is right after the sun has set. They are intimate and moody and I love them. Second, at the end of the night when it started raining, we got some awesome shots with sparklers in front of the cutest getaway car from Mingle Events Rental. Third, we got some adorable pictures with their puppies!
A big part of what made this wedding extra magical was the incredible list of vendors. Everyone was amazing. I especially loved the stunning bouquet from Springvine Design. The other amazing vendors included Nettie’s Bakery, Collective Music Solutions, The Bus Booth, Classic Event Rental, Catering by Corey Marino, Flawless (Brittney Rice), Joy Unscripted, and Officiant Charlie Whitlow. Here’s to many more breathtaking Chestnut Ridge weddings.
