Michelle and Austin’s wedding at Chestnut Ridge was all about flawless execution. This
made for the most perfect experience! They longed for mountaintop views on their
special day. That, along with splashes of evergreen, created a dreamy backdrop for
photos. Celebrating their wedding at such a breathtaking venue is something I’ll always
remember. Playful and intimate are words that came to mind while photographing this couple.
Everything about their photos was both unique and classic. There is an undeniable
warmth in every picture. The way Michelle’s dress popped against the green backdrops
of Chestnut Ridge was stunning!
The first time I met this couple was at Vortex Doughnuts in Asheville. We had an instant
connection on that day. Our mutual love for doughnuts was my first clue! They are fun-
loving and so easy to get along with. Their love is truly authentic and contagious!
The ceremony embodied both a quaint and rustic feel. The flowers, arranged by Urban Farm Girl, were captivating yet subtle.

perfectly! They were the romantic touch that tied the moment together.
The rustic vibe gracefully carried over into the reception. Natural woods, frosty whites,
and deep greens made for the perfect setting. What’s a party without live music and
limbo?! It was nothing short of a good time! It was clear that each guest enjoyed
celebrating this sweet couple.
Even the details of the exit were perfect. The sight of the couple leaving through an
aisle of sparklers was the best ending to such a fun celebration. It was clear just how
loved this couple is.
Austin and Michelle are the types of people you want to surround yourself with! This
