Anthony and Mandy are the sweetest couple. It was a pure joy to spend an afternoon with them capturing their love story. I decided to split their engagement photoshoot into 3 different blog posts because we got to photograph at 3 locations and I have way too many incredible photos to share. We started their engagement shoot at the Koreshan State Park. I’ve been to this park so many times and I’ve never noticed a little bamboo forrest. The sun was peaking through the trees and we got the most beautiful photos. I love how Anthony and Mandy brought their dogs Cody and Gretchen to the photoshoot. They make the cutest little family! I’m so so excited to photograph this stunning couple’s wedding this October at the White Orchid.

He proposed on the 3-year anniversary of the first day we met (which also happens to be the 4th of July). We planned a weekend trip to my family’s house in Key West and brought along our two dogs- Cody and Gretchen. We spent our weekend boating and swimming along sandbars! The evening of our anniversary, he asked if I wanted to take a walk around the property and watch the sunset. We walked along and ended up stopping and sitting on the steps of a little grotto area and looked out onto the water together. Next thing I know he stands up and takes my hand so I will stand too and then he got down on one knee- after that it was a big, perfect blur! We spent the night celebrating and watching the fireworks light up the sky. At the very end of the night, we lit a Chinese lantern together, made a wish for our future as husband and wife, and sent it off with love!
