Ritz Carlton Naples Wedding | Murat + Kat

I’m lost for words about this beautiful Ritz Carlton Naples wedding! As a photographer I can say it has been a dream to document this stunning affair.

Kat & Murat met a week into their freshman year at Yale as a result of a basketball game in Murat’s room directly over Kat’s dorm room at 1am! It was obviously love at first sight since their first date occurred about 2 and half years later! They were both on the Yale track teams and after a few thousand laps around the same oval their lives inevitably were brought together. Even as they went their separate ways to law school, Kat to harvard and Murat to NYU. Six years later with their puppy Rico by their side, Murat popped the question and this day is the lovely result!

Kat’s parents own a home in Naples Florida and the couple decided to converge all their friends and family from around the country in this beautiful tropical beachside setting. The couple wanted as much of the evening as possible to occur outside and without being over the top “beachy”. The bride wanted jewel tones the groom wanted his Yale blue worked into the decor and the marriage of the two wish lists turned out pretty splendidly! With touches of bougainvilleas and orchids along with elegant splashes of gold Detailz Events managed to bring his brides vision to life.

The nuptuals started on the beach, progressing towards the Beach House at The Ritz Carlton Naples as guests watched the sunset and played a {VERY} competitive game of corn hole. The bride switched her look right before dinner…then they progressed to center court were the elegance of the evening was kicked up a notch. Once cake was enjoyed they then headed inside for the after-party where everyone kicked up their heels and enjoyed ice cream bars, lounges & late night snacks. This couple’s Ivy League crew definitely helped them start out married life with a bang & I think these images captured the fun loving & outdoor elegance of this celebration beautifully!
