If you’re a golf fan, then you know how special it is to have your wedding at the TPC Sawgrass in Jacksonville, Florida. It’s the home of The Players Championship and one of the top 10 resort golf courses in America. I can’t think of a couple more deserving of such a fun venue than Riley and Michael.
Riley and Michael’s love story is one of my favorites. Their families have actually been friends since they were kids. Their parents remember talking to each other about who their kids might marry one day. The thought never crossed their minds that they would end up marrying each other! And so, as the story goes, lifelong friends became family.
What I love about Riley and Michael’s family is how tight knit they are. Riley’s relationship with her mom is especially amazing. They are both obsessed with Celine Dion. I’m not sure they can event count how many of her concerts they have been to. At the reception, Riley surprised her mom with a mother daughter dance to their favorite Celine Dion song. It was so sweet!
Riley’s mom also had a surprise up her sleeve! Riley thought that her and Michael would be exiting the reception on a golf cart. Instead, her mom surprised them with a snow exit, complete with a live band and a horse and carriage! It was an unforgettable and magical moment. I can’t think of a better place for that moment to have happened than at the TPC Sawgrass.
Overall, it was an incredible wedding. The bride and groom were stunning, the ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was a blast! I had a lot of fun working with Riley, Michael, and the entire wedding party. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the lucky couple and their families!
